The much highly anticipated visit to Australian Dairy Company to start off Day Two !
*spot Levon waving happily in the queue* :D
Australian Dairy Company 澳洲牛奶公司
47-49 Parkes Street 白加士街
Opening Hours:
Mon to Sun: 7.30 am -11 pm
Closed on Thurs
Nearest MTR: Jordan 佐敦
Exit C2, walk straight, turn right into Parkes St
We ordered the Breakfast set - HKD$32, which had everything we wanted to try.
Macaroni with Ham 火腿通粉
My favourite here, because the weather was sooo chilly and drinking warm soup is exactly what I craved.
Soup isnt too salty, tastes just like Campbell chicken soup.
Simplicity at its best.
This was the most raved about item, yet most disappointing for me ):
Maybe its because my standard for scrambled eggs is quite high (pok makes the best :3),
but I felt that the eggs were overcooked, and didnt have the creamy texture which everyone praised about.
It was still good when matched with the crispy buttered toast, but not alone :x
Oh and consistency was probably another problem,
because I took a glance at the lady next to me and her scrambled eggs looked creamier than mine.
Milk Tea 奶茶
Smooth and fragrant. Niceeeee.
You have to add your preferred amount of sugar to your hot beverages though - I needed 4 scoops :x
This was an additional order, and we wanted to challenge it with Yee Shun's.
Verdict? Smooth, but Yee Shun's was more fragrant.
Despite all that has been said,
I dont mind going back to Aust. Dairy Co. again, because its still a pretty decent meal.
I still hope I get another chance to try the real standard :B
Onwards to HONG KONG DISNEYLAND !
Took a long MTR ride to Sunny Bay 欣澳
Yup, selfies are a must for long journeys. :D
Transfer to the magical mickey train to Disneyland !
*OMG superrrrrr excited*
Selfie with mickey !
And my tapao-ed milk tea hahahaha.
Even the handles are sooooo cute.
Not even at the gate and we're so excited already. :B
Welcome to Hong Kong Disneyland Resort !
It's good to visit Disneyland early, and leave the whole day for it!
You can't leave without seeing the fireworks display at the end.
Andddd HK Disneyland is the smallest of its kind in Asia btw.
So I'm definitely gonna spend even more time at Japan's in the future!
Super excited even on the way in already !
Kept running to these streetlights to take the screen pictures. :D
Levon is mostly excited when she sees Mickey.
Spot the cute mini Snow White!
Eh I'll be nice and share tips.
For most of the attractions, you can buy tickets online here to speed up waiting time!
It's slightly cheaper than even the actual website bookings, and you can basically skip past everyone to go in first.
Apparently, many tourists love to queue :x.
Oh Mickey you're so fine. ;D
Old school feel posters :D
While Levon was queueing for the Mickey and Minnie Meet and Greet,
I was running around like a mad woman snapping photos of the other performances going on. :D
You can get a copy of the programme upon arrival, along with the map, near the entrances!
After queueing for 2.5 hours, it is finally our turn to snap photos with Mickey and Minnie !
The both of them got very excited when they heard the word video. HAHAH.
I'm always impressed with mascots who can potray the characters perfectly.
Some sights along Main Street!
You can seriously get a pair of Cinderella glass slippers at HKD$995.
Me thinks it's one size only.. ;)
Sleeping Beauty's Castle was under maintenance when we were there.
From far you cant see the cardboards, but up close you can.
Still not so bad right.. wait till you see the silhouette at night. *cries*
Took the Space Mountain ride !
Basically a roller coaster/space rocket in the dark.Eh there are some lights to give the galaxy feel, but it was kinda dim and not enough.
The ride was still super thrilling though !
Passed through Adventureland to get to Toy Story Land!
Its really like getting into Andy's Toy Box!
Love the super colorful feel of the place.
Two of the rides which we didnt take - RC racer, and Slinky Dog Spin.
The ride which we did take - Toy Soldier Parachute Drop.
V touched cause Levon is actually damn scared of heights but she still agreed.
Old school style instructional video for the ride. Super cute.
"Why you gotta make an old potato go under the hot sun?! I'm getting baked!"
Oooooooooooo, the clawwwwww.
Another one with Rex! My fav character from Toy Story. :D
Moving on to Mystic Point.
Seriously I have no idea what this cartoon is ! And I'm basically a Disney Fanatic leh :x
Nevertheless, the architecture of the area is beautiful.
And the gift shop is worth a visit, because you can personalise leather keychains there.
Follow the bear trails down to Grizzly Gulch!
Greeted by this cheery group of performers dancing and singing.
They really added on to the country feel of the area.
The old mining town has gotta be our favourite place to take photos.
So many fun props around the area!
Yup, we love taking photos.
Other than photos, the Big Grizzly Mountain Runaway Mine Cars is a must take ride!
Super fun, because it goes forward AND backwards. Damn shiok I wanted to go again.
Spot the bear silhouette in the rocks! Levon's sharp eyes spotted it.
Om nom nom nuggets and pasta salad (with Disney characters inside!).
Quite cheap for a meal in Disneyland actually.
With pretty Levon.
Flights of Fantasy Parade!
This takes place at 3.30 pm, so I recommend finding a good place to watch at around 3 pm.
Best place is in front of the Sleeping Beauty Castle.
The parade route is highlighted in red on the map. :D
Mickey leading the way on his float!
Winnie the Pooh with his Hunny pots.
The Princess Float! With Sleeping Beauty, Snow White, Cinderella, and Belle.
WHERE IS ARIEL )))):
The Lion King!
Simba: Oh I just can't wait to be king~
Stitch!
To the Sleeping Beauty Castle ! (ugh cardboard)
Still must take selfie though. :B
Okay this is a decent one from the courtyard, at Snow White's Grotto.
Did you guys know that Snow White is the first full length hand-drawn animation feature film by Disney, released in 1937?
Statue dedicated to Mickey's Fantasia performance - the ones with the magical brooms.
I'm working for Mickey too!
Mickey's PhilharMagic, hosted in Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs' cottage!
Levon says I win liao, cause 'like that also know!'
It's a 3-D show, featuring many Disney classic songs!
No spoilers except that you get to see Ariel!
And please feel free to sing along (:
The Mad Hatter's Tea Cups.
Cinderella's Carousel.
Never too old for carousels! :D
Back to Adventureland - To Tarzan's Tree House.
As you climb the tree house, you relive Tarzan's story.
We spent quite ALOT of time (and money) at Fantasyland's Storybook Shoppe.
The best and most popular merchandise can be bought there in our opinion.
Go after Mickey's PhilharMagic!
The super popular Duffy and Shellie May bears are available here too!
The story is damn cute btw.
With nothing much to do, we parked ourselves at the round plaza, in front of the castle.
Getting ready for the Paint the Night Parade!
Pretty sunset.
Stupid cardboard.
Paint the Night Parade takes place at 7.30 pm, and is a new attraction.
The fluorescent floats light up the parade route and depicts more of the new Disney-Pixar Films.
Members of the audience can purchase Mickey's Magic Glow brush to literally paint the night.
For the rest however, you'll be wondering why did the float stop. LOL.
They need to synchronize the parade better to match everyone, i.e. with or without brushes.
Monsters Inc.!
There was Cars too, but I didnt manage to snap a photo.
Tinkerbell
Slinky the Dog from Toy Story!
Belle and the Magic Rose.
I loved the shimmery panel behind the rose, the effect was really pretty.
The Little Mermaid Float !
Wizard's Apprentice Mickey!
The pulsing plasma ball was quite cool in person.
8.30 pm was Disney in the Stars Fireworks Finale!
Seriously THE MOST magical moment of all Disneyland Park Experiences.
Its not simply fireworks; its a story.
A spectacular composition of pyrotechnics and sparks with dramatic music.
When JH went for HK Disneyland, she teared during the parade and fireworks.
I laughed at her.
I teared during fireworks too. #sorryJH. HAHAH.
BECAUSE IT WAS UNBELIEVABLE.
Like my whole childhood was Disney and its cartoons, and I'm finally experiencing Disneyland.
*sheds tears of joy*
Macho Levon didnt cry. Heng she never laugh at me either. ;p
(Stupid cardboard and phone camera).
So sums up my experience at Disneyland!
Eh it was crazy trying to get out afterwards, cause we wanted to rush for the first few trains out.
If you're bringing kids please be careful to hold them tightly! And your bags as well.
We made it out in one piece.
With my Mickey Ears intact.
LOL I had to buy something for myself right. :D
Dinner was at Mak Man Kee Noodle Shop!

Here's the gigantic menu on the wall.
We both ordered the Shrimp Wonton Noodles 蝦子撈面 - HKD$44
If you're looking for the soup version, its 上湯水餃面
Probably the best wonton noodles I've had!
The noodles are super thin and superrrr springy, yet still easy to chew.
Rumor is that they still use the traditional method to prepare their own noodles; Duck eggs are involved.
The shrimp wonton is very juicy and plump too.
When researching, a blogger recommended Fermented Beancurd Pork Trotter noodles too (南乳豬手撈面),
but I didnt think much of it because I wasnt a fan of pork.
Until I saw other customers order, and it was actually this:

Like omg it's one of my favourite dishes my ahma usually prepares.
Only that I didn't know its real name till now HAHA.
Anyway I didn't try Mak Man Kee's version, but maybe next time !
