the seventh anniversary

16.11.14  (This is a belated post! :x)
Seven years, another milestone.
We're still not feeling the itch. :B

Every monthsary is super simple, but I'll force pok to plan each year's anniversary, mwahahahah.

Maplestory nails in honour of our origins. :D
#jtsmani for my nail artworks!

First stop: Five & Dime !
Silly pok remembered that I mentioned them before, so he sneakily tricked me there.

It was damn funny, because it was raining very heavily when we got off the bus, and we only had one umbrella.
So we waited and waited for 15 minutes for the rain to get smaller.. only to realise that it was less than a minute's walk away. LOL.

I've been to Five & Dime another 2 times at this point, so I'll do a proper review soon.

We visited during brunch time!

Matcha Latte - $7
Matcha taste was not too bitter, just sweet enough.
Quite expensive for such a small cup, but luckily it tasted good.

Expresso - $3
An even smaller cup ! hahahah.
Pok likes his bitter kopi O. ;p

French Toast - $16
Crispy French Toast, matched with butter and maple syrup.
You can choose between chicken sausage, or bacon strips.

Mentaiko Pasta - $18
Spaghetti with creamy mentaiko sauce, topped with shiso and even more cod roe.

Sounds so simple but it's soooo good !
I always go back for this dish because it's seriously the bomb.
The dish is slightly spicy and isn't too creamy, but its fish roe taste may be slightly strong for some.

Got the friendly waiter to take a photo for both of us. :D

Wearing thetinselrack's Tara Boat Neck Midi in Powder Blue

Second stop: Alive Museum
Alive Museum originates from Korea, and has many fun artworks for you to pose with.
We had lots of fun trying out different shots!

Adult entry fee is $25, and right now there's a 20% discount if you purchase it online from their website here.
Enter 'aliveopen' during checkout.

Eh but one complaint is definitely the space.
Each artwork has a guide point for visitors to take the appropriate shots, but there were some artworks with overlapping points.
Which means that I cant take my shot for pok, until someone using another artwork finishes theirs.
Kinda stupid right?

HAHAH too funny.

I'm a legit mermaid.

He accepts but I reject.
Shit.

Do the Michael Jackson Lean!

Wolver-pok.

Love this photo!

Ommmmmm... nom nom?

He wants to dedicate this to yj. HAHAH.

Balloons are dangerous..
Just ask bimb.

Look Ma, one hand stand!

White-Water Rafting, or No-Water Rafting..?

Third stop: Buffet Dinner at Carousel, Royal Plaza on Scotts.
Quite impressed by the large selection of fresh seafood!
And yay, there was cha soba and aburi sushi too. :D

Silly pok also surprised me with a simple slice of cake!
Thanks to the staff for the nice photo too. (:

Thank you my silly pok, for arranging such a memorable day.
You always manage to make me smile.

And you always spam my phone with all the selfies. HAHAH.

AHAHAHAHA YOUR ROYAL FATNESS.
Still love. :D
