One Friday night at Sauce

Accompanied le boyfriend to school before meeting the girls!

Took the mrt from Bedok to freaking Clementi, then back to Raffles Place.

Abit mad but it's quality time spent (:

Decided to go for drinks and duck pizza at Timbre @ Arts House!

It was a last minute decision so we didnt manage to get reservations, 

so we had to queue while waiting for jh to finish work.

On a side note, am I the only one who feels that timbre's reservation system sucks?

Don't understand why they allow me to choose seats on the website,

and I still have to wait for an email to confirm the reservation.

If the seats have already been booked by another person, it should have reflected as unavailable isnt it?

You know, like how we book movie tickets? :x

Queued for 1.5 hours but to no avail, because they had a priority queue for UOB cardholders.

Initially the priority queue was empty so we didnt think much of it.

Who knew, when there was only 2 groups more in front of us,

a whole bunch of people (arnd 12) joined the priority queue. 

And they were two separate groups of people, so .. ):

Decided to switch to Sauce bar at Esplanade instead!

Jh kept raving about the truffle fries so we chose that.

Ack but it was so annoying cause when we reached there, we saw a few people queueing.

The staff were apparently oblivious to the 'queue' too. 

No one approached us to find out how many pax, etc.

And we saw other people cutting in, approaching the staff, and they actually got tables. :OOO

Then it turns out, that THERE WAS NO QUEUE.

Blind following the blind omg.

Still, I didnt like it that the staff ignored the whole bunch of people waiting at the supposed entrance.

There wasnt any initiative by them to offer help of any kind, when we were obviously waiting.

House midwings, Lychee martini, Cosmopolitian,

Truffle fries, and Ploughman Nachos.

Food was alright, nothing very impressive.
Not even the truffle fries. :/

Still, I loved the company !
Its not easy to arrange a meetup because we're busy, and this ahsai has memory loss issues LOL.
But we always never run out of topics to crap about :D
12 years and counting hehehe.
