Today I have NIVEA's Intensive Moisture Serum up for review!
It is sold in all leading personal care stores and supermarkets,
including Watsons, Guardian, Cold Storage, NTUC Fairprice outlets and other major retailers.
NIVEA is one of the top brands for hydrating products, be it for face or body care.
So what's new with this product?
It is touted as the first ever body moisturiser which has SPF of 25++ AND
can repair the 10 signs of accumulated dry and damaged skin within 24 hours.
Wahh.. Sounds like such a big promise isn't it?
The serum boasts a large arsenal of weapons to support its claim:
100X concentrated Vitamin E and Grape Seed Oil
These two powerful antioxidants protect against radical damage to skin,
and help to lock moisture in the skin.
Avocado Oil
A natural oil which aids in the relief and repair of dry and/or itchy skin.
Hydra IQ technology
Supplies the skin with moisture and ensures penetration of moisture to the deeper layers
and the ever important SPF 25 with PA++
Protects against evil UVA and UVB rays. Nuff' said.
Let's test the application.
I squeezed a 20-cent drop of the Intensive Moisture Serum onto the back of my hand.
As you can see, the serum is slightly watery.
Based on my experience with Nivea products this is normal.
Once again, I love that it has a light fragrance, reminiscent of baby powder.
Smells very clean, I likey. :D
Rubbed it into my skin using a circular motion.
The serum was quickly absorbed into my skin.
Taadaaa!
The light serum was quickly absorbed and left no icky sticky feeling.No white residue was seen as well !
A previous NIVEA sunscreen actually gave me that problem :/
So the next question is, what are the 10 signs of dry and damaged skin?
Skin is.. *deep breath*
flaky, itchy, uneven, scratched, rough, cracked, stressed, dull, tight and peeling.
*whew*
Basically it doesn't feel nice to touch, hahah.
